My Passion

Why is this topic significant? First, to me, My passion for art, design, nature, and human craftsmanship drives my research. As an artist who studies ecology and fine art, now an interaction designer at CMU, I love to draw, paint, and design meaningful stuff. I value the complexity of stories and emotions behind all human-made artifacts and the dynamic relationship between the human community and nature.
 Design

In the field of design, we are now at the pivotal point in redefining our relationship with technology and the conceptual models of working with new technologies. With the prevalence of AI tools, there arises a critical conversation about the definition of human identity and humanity itself.
Society

The evolution of the digital landscape offering possibilities is also contributing to social isolation, especially among aging populations, who are carriers of invaluable human craftsmanship, creativity, and experiences. So my research seeks to address this gap.
